Mehmet Bogujevci u lind me 3. Maj 1951 n\u00eb fshatin Bresje, Fush\u00eb Kosov\u00eb. Me boks filloi t\u00eb mirret me 1966 n\u00eb klubin e boksit Spartak t\u00eb Subotic\u00ebs. Traineri i par\u00eb i tij ishte\u00a0Stefan Engelbrecht i cili i ndihmoi mjaft n\u00eb ngritjen e nj\u00eb boksieri aq t\u00eb madh. Mehmeti filloi n\u00eb kategorin\u00eb pendel ku pesha e tij ishte 48 kg. P\u00ebr kat\u00ebr vite boksoi n\u00eb Spartak t\u00eb Subotic\u00ebs p\u00ebr t\u00eb kaluar m\u00eb von\u00eb te K.B.Prishtina me 1970. P\u00ebr 13 vite sa boksoi te K.B.Prishtina ishte boksieri i padiskutuesh\u00ebm. Me 1968 fiton titullin e ma t\u00eb mirit n\u00eb ish-Jugosllavi p\u00ebr junior (pesha 48 kg). K\u00ebt\u00eb sukses e p\u00ebrs\u00ebrit nj\u00eb vit m\u00eb von\u00eb por k\u00ebsaj here (pesha 51 kg). Po k\u00ebt\u00eb vit kalon n\u00eb konkurrenc\u00ebn e senior\u00ebve ku n\u00eb vitin par\u00eb ishte i treti n\u00eb ish-Jugosllavi. N\u00eb vitet 1970 deri 1976,\u00a0Mehmeti ishte kat\u00ebr her\u00eb n\u00ebnkampion i ish-jugosllavis\u00eb, duke e vjedhur disa here n\u00eb\u00a0duelet e drejt\u00ebp\u00ebrdrejta vjedhet p\u00ebr t\u00eb mos lejuar t\u00eb fiton titullin e asaj kohe.
